Environmental pollution: A fearful future for men’s fertility (part 2 – air pollution)

Hi! I’m back to draw your attention towards the effect of air pollution – specially the horrifying effect on men’s fertility. This is the second segment of my previous post Environmental pollution: A fearful future for men’s fertility (part 1 – overview) .

A significant research, conducted by a group of Italian researchers, points out a cruel attack of air pollution, which was not taken seriously before. Their study says that air pollution causes low sperm count as well as low sperm movement and there by causes lower fertility potential. There is a high risk for sperm in reaching and penetrating an egg if sperm count and sperm movement are low. Again, because of lower quality sperm, total health condition of new born babies will be below the level of expectation.

It is also found that men who stay longer time near motor ways are the worst victims of this kind of violent effect of the air pollution. Among the motor way air pollution victims, young and middle-aged men suffer much. As those two groups of man population are the main participants in human reproduction activities, there may rise an unexpected birth rate fall in densely air polluted areas.

So think what to do with traditional motor vehicles!

Now I understood, why the legends emphasised on quality than quantity.
