Every year we hear the news of water logging in the major cities. The rainy season is just a few days away and rain will start to pour again, but what is our preparation regarding water logging?
The question is: whether we are prepared enough to tackle this water logging problem in Dhaka and other major cities. Every year heavy rainfall brings untold sufferings to Dhaka city dwellers. Busy roads and residential areas are filled with water and people can't move easily from one place to another because of the faulty drainage systems. And the DCC never takes timely action in order to solve this problem.
The problem should be addressed in right earnest.
